Give your junior athlete the opportunity to experience summer camps with The First Tee! Juniors will be placed in groups according to skill level and age and will work on putting, chipping, bunker play, and full swing. The First Tee of Greater Richmond is offering full day and half day camps, junior camps, and Player Development Academy Camps in 2019.
No walk up registration! Participants must be registered in the online system prior to attending camp.
THE FIRST TEE GOLF CAMP
The First Tee Golf Camp is open to all levels of players – from beginner to advanced. Participants will be placed in groups according to skill level and age and will work on putting, chipping, bunker play, and full swing. Campers will have the opportunity to experience on-course instruction and will learn about the rules and etiquette of the game of golf. Campers will be exposed to The First Tee Life Skills Curriculum and core values.

The First Tee Junior Camp
Junior Camp will expose young participants to basic golf skills through fun games, activities and a variety of stations. Participants will be introduced to the game of golf, rules and etiquette while also learning The First Tee Nine Core Values. Ages 4 to 6 only.

player development academy camp
Golfers will be placed in groups according to division and will work on putting, chipping, bunker play, and full swing. The First Tee Player Development Academy Golf Camp will include golf fundamentals, skills, and technique, on-course instruction, course management strategy, rules and etiquette, goal setting, conflict resolution, and more.
Monday-Friday 9:00am to 3:00pm
A founding purpose of The First Tee is to make golf more accessible to all youth, particularly young people who otherwise may not have an opportunity to learn and play the game. Our policy is to provide access to programs regardless of a participant’s ability to play. Our financial aid program is funded by generous donors. Parents/guardians may apply for financial aid as part of the online registration process. Once you have applied for financial aid through the online registration, you will receive an email notification and can then complete the registration.
- We cannot offer any prorated pricing for the Life Skills Experience Classes or Summer Camps.
- Refunds will be subject to a $15.00 administrative fee.
- Participants receiving financial aid are expected to have attendance records in good standing to remain eligible for future aid.
